As Jtyc once said in microsoft.public.cert.exam.mcse

To each his own.

What I do is wait to see who's ahead in the polls then I vote for
them, otherwise I'm just throwing my vote away. It's like a horse
race, you should bet on who you think will win.

Nossir! I was insulting everybody else.

Well, I guess if you felt insulted, there was prolly a reason. But
no, I was intending to insult the whole BS process of blowing some
silly crap all out of proportion, then pulling out our d1cks, tying a flag
to them and waving them about while shouting slogans about supporting
troops, and death to terrorists, like a bunch of freaking towelheads in
some alley in Baghdad for the benefit of the cameras on bloody Fox News.
Or CNN. Or NBC.

Makes me want to toss a brick through my TV.

'Cept, it's like, my TV.

And then I wouldn't be able to watch Scrubs.

Yeah, I know. In fact, you are one of the few I can think of that actually
takes the time to research some of this crap. I may not necessarily agree
with your conclusions, but I respect the fact that you actually have some
grasp of what you are talking about.

Oh sure. After all that, you give me a compliment.

Well, I think you're one too.

Dammit, Doom! That's the whole point of my b1tch.

Why do we keep on voting for these a$$hats? I would dearly love to have a
"None of the above" option on the ballot. Failing that, default to "The
one that didn't take money from a PAC or lobbyist"

We keep voting for these idiots, they keep getting elected, we keep
kvetching, because we can, we voted after all, and nothing changes.

Naw, I don't have an answer, so don't ask.

That's why I'm gonna move to Mars.

Or maybe run for office myself?

I hear Congrescritters get $160K per year now, with a 70% retirement.

Hmmmm...

Maybe Pres?

The problem is that you would have to play by the rules to get into office.
Once you are there, the people who gave you all that money will ask you for
favors. You can turn them down however, but you will be on your own and
will not be able to accomplish anything.

Review our governator's career in office. He came in with all these ideas
for change and then ran head first into the legislature and their way of
doing business. He lost, and alone he hasn't had the power to accomplish
anything.

Yeah! and what about all the kids who are there because they need money for
school. Isn't that a primary selling point for recruiters? Kerry is a
complete a$$. I can't believe any American would utter such contempt for the
men and women serving in Iraq or anywhere for that matter. Kerry forgot that
the backbone of our nation is built buy working class American's who have to
find a way to pay for school. Not everyone has a daddy who pays their way.
And that goes for "W" too.

I'd vote for you if you ran for Prez. I hope the little matter of my
being non-American won't stand in the way !
