Hi I just got a linksys wireless access point and I think that there is an IP conflict going on... Only one computer at a time resolves a gateway ip.
The Diagnostics says: DefaultIPGateway = 83.167.244.1(Same Subnet) (FAILED) Pinging 83.167.244.1 with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Ping statistics for 83.167.244.1: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss) I also cannot get onto the web configurator for the linksys router. I assume the ip of the wireless router and the cable modem are conflicting but i dunno what to do... Any suggestions??? ipconfig /all gives me this: Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 4: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Belkin 802.11g Wireless Card Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-11-50-DD-F9-8E Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 83.167.244.156 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 83.167.244.1 DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 83.167.224.100 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 89.101.160.4 195.162.196.5 83.167.224.60 Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : 29 October 2006 01:09:31 Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : 30 October 2006 01:09:31 Thanks Promethious |
