When I start my computer and I check my control panel, firefox is not there. When I close firefox, it is still there... but when I try to delete/kill the process, it pops right back up, no matter how many times you do it. I also have no programs running. I downloaded the Security Control Panel trial, it can tell you the target of all the procceses. I open it and I see firefox. The target is "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Firefox.exe". So I delete firefox.exe just to see if it worked, and my computer ran a little bit better, which shouldnt happen becuase the process was only 2844kb, and I have 768mb and 1877mb including pagefile.
I tried reinstalling it. I removed all the themes and I i removed the extensions. Still doesnt work. I even tried previous instals of firefox, same problem.
How do you kill the process without it coming back and still have firefox able to run?
