Default Do I need an XML reader?

Hi,
When viewing an XML source from Atom newsreader through a Mac,
there is no problem, all appears as it should but when through this PC
and Firefox I get this sort of thing:

spam protection around <br> <a target="_blank"
href="http://mail.yahoo.com">[link]</a>

the page contains all the formatting. Is there an extension or
something I can download that will allow the page to appear as it
should?
Thank you in advance,
Reg

Sounds like you are looking at the xml page itself, rather then
bookmarking is as a live bookmarks.

Instead of left clicking on the link and opening the page, right click
on it and bookmark it. Then open if from Bookmarks, and you should see
the feed.
