We have a PIX Failover Bundle. If the primary PIX fails and the command and
control interface of the IDS is directly connected to the primary PIX, then
IDS will effectively fail.

How do I get round this.

I have tried connecting the Command and Control interface (E1) of the
IDS4215 to a HUB, and this in turn to both interface on my PIX's (Primary
and Failover)

Does this sound right ?

Gary
