can't locate the wireless network

hi guys

i have a dlink dwl g520 wireless card installed in my desktop and i have hp dv2000 laptop

but the problems is that both computers can't locate each other

whenever i try to search for the laptop in the desktop or search for the desktop in the laptop nothing appears.

so do any one knows how to solve this issue, and isn't dlink g520 support p2p network
