Hi everybody,

i have a cisco 1721 router.
The router tells me in the console following message:

loadprog: bad file magic number: 0x0
boot: cannot load "flash:"

I know that i do not know anything.
Can i solve this problem by myself
or must i send this router to Cisco.

Please help.
Any help would be nice.

There is no xxxx.bin File in the flash:
And the worst of it:
My user login at cisco allows me not to download new IOS.
So i have to send it back to my reseller.(!?)

If the unit is brand new, you can make a call to Cisco TAC and make a
warranty service request.

No warranty.
The device is 2½ years old...
