No matter what I do I can't get rid of the little white left margin
with pictures in frames. Have a look at
http://james.wiseman.ca/frames.htm. Look at my code, I've tried
everything from inline CSS to CSS in the head tags and most browser
versions of margin settings to 0.

Have you checked in a Validator? Look at one and fix everything
it says first.
