Default passing 2nd test question

Hi,
I passed my 1st test towards the mcsd back in july, passed the c# with
web applications exam. I got the email from microsoft with my mcp id,
got my welcome kit a few weeks later. Then last week I passed the c#
with windows application exam, but I haven't seen my exam updated on
the mcp site, it's been about 6 days now. Then today I finally got the
congrads email from microsoft, but in the email they have a different
MCP ID for me, different from the one I got the first time. And the
email looks as if it's for someone who just passed 1 exam, it contains
information on getting the mcp welcome kit again.
Are we suppose to get different IDs after each exam? Otherwise is
there someone I can contact to correct this, have both exams merged
into 1 id, don't want to retake the exams. I did the 1st exam through
pearson vue, the 2nd one was setup through the testing center, they
went through another company not pearson, but they do have the correct
email, address, etc.. information for me.

Thanks.

Hrm. That sounds like a problem. I've only got 1 MCP ID for all the exams
I've taken.

I would recommend calling the MCP phone number (which you can find on the
MCP site) and let them know what's going on. Hopefully they'll be able to
clear everything up - I know on the occasions that I've called them, them've
been pretty helpfull.

Yup... you only are supposed to have one total... getting two sometimes
happens if you test using different test providers.

Definitely call the MCP phone number, or email ....
just make sure you have all your testing information so that they can help
merge them.

Good job!
