[announce] Dear comp.text.xml community,

Join us - This year's DataDirect Design Previews feature an afternoon
of XML & XQuery. Attendees who stay until the end of the XQuery

Afternoon Agenda:

12:00-12:30: Birds of a Feather Lunch Sit with DataDirect XML and
XQuery experts including Mr. Jonathan Robie, an Editor of the W3C
XQuery Specification and Carlo Innocenti, DataDirect XQuery Program
Manager.
12:30 - 1:00: Technical Support Overview Learn about our outstanding
Tech Support - free during product evaluation
1:00-1:15: XML Products Roadmap Learn what's coming next for
DataDirect's XML products
1:15-1:45: Handling XML in Your Relational Databases Many relational
databases now support native storage of XML data. This session provides
an overview of XML features in relational databases and how these
features are supported through data access technologies.
2:00-3:30: XQuery Tutorial: Using XQuery in Your Architecture This
session provides an overview of XQuery and how DataDirect XQuery fits
into various architectures including today's SOAs. The live XQuery
demos will provide a basic understanding of the XQuery language and
teach you how to use XQuery.
