Speedtouch 580 - Trendnet 510APB

Hello Group!

My question is this...

I have a Speedtouch 580 dsl router, giving wireless internet, but now i need
to expand the signal, so i bought a Trendnet 510apb accesspoint... i setted
it to be a repeater of the sp580, with the mac and the wep key, but it
doesnt work, even dessapear from the wireless network..

I even tought of set a wire from the sp580 setting it like an acesspoint
with other name to the trendnet in some other part... but i did it, but it
appears, but doesnt distribute internet...

Can anybody explain me.. what to do?... does anybody know how to connect the
trendnet to the sp580 in repeater mode?...
