This could be a place to learn how you should explain current concepts such as the Internet, browsers, and operating systems. Our members are mostly beyond the sixth grade at this point, but many of us remember what it was like to be that young and open minded.

I think your best bet will be to procure a set of learning CDs that the kids could interactively watch / click on / follow. That old "Putt-Putt goes to town" type of series was helpful for small children in my household.

The biggest problem you might have is with curious kids that want to start searching on the web. They can end up at bad sites if you don't have some type of parental control on the computer(s).

Why don't you post a separate topic in the "General Computer Discussion" section so many of our members can see it?
