I'm new to this forum and havnt done any modding yet
but here is my lab systems

(4) P4 2.6Ghz 1 gig ram
(2) CISCO 2610 routers
(1) CISCO 2924 Enterprise Switch

That looks awsome, do you all have them hooked up to a.... (cant think of the word)... switch thingy...(for use on one keyboard, mouse, monitor)(someone help me if they can remeber the name of what im talking about)... anywhoo that just looks impressive in itself...

The word you are looking for is KVM switch as in "Keyboard, Video, Mouse" easy huh
and yeap I sure do they are all hooked to a Belkin 4 Port KVM swith

It simulates a WAN, ISDN,T1,ATM, Frame relay or whatever connection.
So picture one router in one city and the other router in another city.

Since this is a CCNA Lab setup you will not be able to see the main thing you are trying to accomplish with one router. The propagation of route tables and the routing of data! The only way you can see if your configurations work, is to have at least two routers.

Hmmmm. Time for some case modding! Cold cathode lights. Yes, that's what we need here. But not in the computer cases. How about surrounding the area with green cold cathode lighting, and then taking a picture with it up and running at night with no house lights on in the general area? I like the setup too.

I am looking for new inventive ways to teach technology to children k-6. I entered this forum to find out if I am on the right or wrong path for information concerning how to's to help teachers be affective in their teaching at our school.
