I have a laptop that has a 1394 Net Adapter on it. I can turn it adapter on,
and it said that it has a 400MB connection, but I cant get in a network hot spot or get an IP Address. How can I configure it so I can get on to my wireless network without having to get a wireless card and putting it into a express slot? Can anyone help me. Just email me @ when you can. Thank you for your help. Loran loran |

Sorry, no free email support. Asked here, answered here for the benefit of all. Your 1394 Net Adapter is a firewire adapter with networking capability. To join a wireless network, you need a wireless (802.11x) adapter. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User Malke |
