Sipgate X-lite won't stop ringing if caller hangs up

If the incoming caller hangs up before the call is answered then X-lite just
rings forever until I pick up the USB phone and press the red button. Have
googled but can't find a way to fix this (presumably) misconfiguration.
Anyone seen this before?
