Can you confirm please that port SFP in a mini-GBIC interface ?

If yes, what difference btw GBIC interface that i use on catalyst 2950 and
SFP used on Catalyst 2960 ?

Cisco make more money selling an SFP?

The two units are two different ways of doing the same job.

The SFP is smaller (hence SF) and you can fit more of them on
the front of a card or switch.

You can get all kinds of different ones, the same as with GBICS.
