As Bart Simpson once said in microsoft.public.cert.exam.mcse
Bart, you're never going to amount to anything, I've seen your future. Once that Simpson gene kicks in your done. Consider marrying rich. As far as the corse - never heard of it, but it seems pricy, books are cheaper (but then you have to read them). Consider spending the money books, a nice computer (or two or three), some virtualization software (still free?) and time. kpg |

>>Did you see what Bart Simpson () graced us
with in ?<< > Has anybody tried the Makau training? Is it any good? > > http://www.makaucorp.com/course.asp?CID=209 > Cowabunga Dude!!.....For an unacheiver like yourself, they may be ok, but like kpg stated, they're a little pricy....there are less expensive ways of training. Nothing that any of us would use. Unless of course, all you were really doing was spamming for Makau. In which case, you won't make a sale, but I'll be contacting them for info about the courses. -- BD MCNGP #51 -- MCNGP.com - You know IT!? -- www.CertGuard.com; www.SWPPM.com BD [MCNGP] |

OK, but which books? I have read the reviews for the Microsoft W2K3 books on
Amazon.com and a lot of people slam them because they lack depth. How about the Sybex books? McGraw-Hills? Others? BTW, I am a W2K MCSE but I let my certs lapse as I took on a managerial role for the past three years. Things have changed, and I now find myself back in a Sys Admin job (in an environment that includes both W2K3 and Linux machines) with the promise to management that I would get my W2K3 certs in the next 12 months. I already passed the 70-270 exam (first try), and now need to bone up on the W2K3 material. Never mind, the local library has copies of the Makau training and so I will
save money on all training costs. Bart Simpson |
