My CD RW Drive is not reading or writing. I have checked device manager and
it states that ut is working properly. I checked properties and there is no letter assoiciated with the drive. It used to be E drive. Somehow it disappeared. Can anyone help me. Thanks, Andy =?Utf-8?B?YWxrNTQ1?= |

Andy - I've had this happen myself. Try this - Power off your cpu, open
the case. Gently pull off the cd's cable, then put it back on. Heat in the case will sometimes cause these to pull away. Then reboot. You may have to reboot twice. But the drive should be recognized again. alk545 wrote: > My CD RW Drive is not reading or writing. I have checked device manager and > it states that ut is working properly.
