Default 1721 loses config after power cycle ? help please

Hi all,
when I power cycle my 1721 loses her configuration. The strange thing is
that
(after cycling) I do sh conf , and there is my conf. But I will not start up
with
it. What is my problem ? of course i did copy running-config startup-c etc.
Danke !

Kalina,

check your configuration register (sh ver). It should be set
to 0x2102. If you got it set to 0x2142, it skips
loading the configuration for password recovery purposes.
Do a conf t, config-register 0x2102.

Cheers
Sascha
