Hi all,

I'm trying to setup a 1721 router to do DHCP instead of a Windows 2000 server.
The IP phone system we're using requires 5 vendor options. 3 of these I've
figured out using:

ip dhcp pool my-pool1
network 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0
default-router 192.168.2.2
domain-name example.com
dns-server 192.168.2.5 192.168.6.3 192.168.6.4
netbios-name-server 192.168.2.5 192.168.6.3 192.168.6.4
option 128 ip 192.168.4.2
option 129 ip 192.168.4.2
option 130 ascii MITEL IP PHONE

However, the Windows 2000 server also has 2 other options:

option 132 "long" 0x2
option 133 "long" 0x6

What's the cisco equivalent of these options?

"option 132 hex 0x2" doesn't seem to work, "option 132 ip 0x2" doesn't make
sense. So it's either "option 132 ascii 0x2" or I need to make "0x2" into a hex
number?

thanks
Karnov

From the IOS documentation on Cisco's website...

option 132 hex 02
option 133 hex 06
