Serial Port Not Routing

I have two 2501's hooked up back to back via the serial connections. Problem
is on one port the interface goes to an up/down status and does not work.
The same exact config on the other serial interface stays in the up/up mode
and can route. It's not the cable, clocking or the configuration. Is my IOS
corrupt?

Thanks

Do you have "no keepalive" configured on the one that stays up/up?

No, 'no keepalives' are not on any of the interfaces.
Should I post the 'sh int serial x' config?

Post the config files for both Serial Interfaces in question.
Make sure you only have the clock rate on the DCE side, the other side does
not get the command.

Thank you for your offering of help but I had to tear down the lab over the
weekend in preperation of a move shortly.
I will repost once I am settled.
