Can someone explain this: We use Cisco VPN .0.3A client. When a user
downloads this at home, installs it, it works fine. When they come
into our office envionment the client fails to connect -- says it
cannot connect to the security gateway. The only solution we've found
is to uninstall the software and reinstall it.
Evidently, the vpn client picks up some information from the
installation and we don't know what it is.

Details:
Using a Presario 2100 with XP home, D-Lan wireless card, and d-lan
wireless router connected to cable modem.

Any suggestions on how to avoid this? Or fix it without total
reinstall?

Have you tried 4.0.1 ? I had problems with 4.0.3 and dropped back.
