Sorry, it was entirely accidental. Although I may be new to C and
this newsgroup in particular, I am not new to the Internet or
newsgroups. I know and practice most if not all of the relevant
"netiquette", but everyone is allowed to slip now and then, aren't
they?

How do you expect us to be able to tell the difference between an
accidental slip and blissful ignorance of the netiquette rules?
