Picked up nice Dell L667 at garage sale.. boots fine but when Win2000
opens it asks for a Windows password which is unknown.
Is there a way to bypass this or elimate the pw in safe mode or some
other way???
Can i reload Win2000 pro over the existing 2Kpro ? thus wiping out the
existing pw.
Many thanks

dnw

You can have a copy of Ultimate Boot CD burned. You can boot off the CD and
it has a utility that will show all the NT accounts and reset the PSW for
the account to whatever you want.
