I have an old computer and want to format the old windows 98 and install
windows xp. Im not familiar about formatting a drive and reinstalling
windows. Anybody have an explination of how to do this in idiots
terminology?
The reason being that the old system crashed, froze up all the time, and
kept doing weird things. Hate to pitch it, perhaps someone else could use it
if I could get it to quit acting up?
As I said I'm puter illiterate at these things. Thanks

See if the system boots off the XP cd. Then follow along.
