Speculations on 2.4GHz interference?

I'm thinking of installing a wireless LAN in my home. Probably 802.11g.
Prices are quite attractive now so the main thing holding me back is
concern over interference between the wireless LAN & my 2.4GHz cordless
phone system.

The phone system (6 handsets spread throughout the house) uses DSS
frequency hopping to prevent eavesdropping. Would that increase or
decrease the likelihood of interference? Obviously it causes the phones
to use more frequencies, but it also reportedly lessens interference-at
least with other cordless phones.

Speculation is welcome. Thanks.

Dick you are still not answering the question...only giving your input. READ
AND UNDERSTAND the post before answering. Daily you prove how Davicomp is
incompetent.

BTW, please remember to use the Manners Checker on your computer, one finger
on the F12 key and another in your ass, if it feels good, post it.

If you can use the _same_ hand, here's a cookie!"
