Hi everyone,

Something strange happened with my computer, and although the problem is solved
I can't figure out what it was exactly. Ok, about 2 weeks ago, I noticed these
2 new icons on my desktop screen called "play poker live" and "golden palace
flash casino".. Last night, I decided to delete them. When I did this, it said
Deleting iexplore.exe. I should have trusted my instinct and left it alone, but
I ended up deleting both of them and emptying the recycling bin.

The next day, when I tried to open up IE, it said "cannot find iexplore.exe. I
panicked for a few seconds, than I went upstairs to my sisters computer and
made a copy of her iexplore.exe and copied it to my computer. Everything is
fine now, but I still don't understand what happened. How can a desktop icon
that was only a shortcut be my internet.exe file. Has this happened to anyone
else??

Sincerely, Anthony

You deleted Explorer yourself and you clicked something when online without
reading the small print. Beware of Greeks bearing gifts.
