Default Console Gaming

Where can I find somekind of EXTERNAL method of putting my console
games (PS2/GC/XB) on my computer screen? I'd like to find one that
connects to my computer through USB or firewire.

Look for USB 2.0 or firewire video capture devices. That should do the
trick. Assuming you have USB 2.0 on your computer for that option, of
course. USB 1.1 isn't fast enough.

Yes, but could you be a little more specific? Most of the ones I find
don't have A/V ports.

I don't know where you are looking, but most video capture devices support
analog capture, and in order to do that, they must have analog inputs
(composite RCA or S-video). There are some that support digital-only,
(using firewire from a DV cam etc.) but the majority support analog input. A
quick check of newegg.com turned up many such devices, both internal, and
external. PS2 consoles have composite RCA video outputs. If the capture
device you get only has S-video inputs, you can buy a simple inexpensive
adapter to plug into the PS2's RCA connector. The PS2 audio jack then needs
a 3.5mm audio adapter to plug into the audio line input on your sound card,
or plug directly into the capture device if it supports audio input on the
capture device itself.
