Hi All,
I have a Sony Vaio notebook PCG-FX240 and would like to change the boot
sequence to the CD ROM. When the unit starts, I depress F2 which gets me
into the bios setup. I go to BOOT section and I see CD ROM but don't know
how to turn it ON. When I go to BOOT in setup I see the following:
CD-ROM Drive
+Removable Drives
+Hard Drive
I highlight CD-ROM and depress Shift+1 as stated on the right side help bar.
I get:
!CD-ROM Drive
I shut the computer down with a bootable CD in the restart. The notebook
starts using the hard drive and not the CD-ROM.
Thanks for your help.
