The driver may be corrupt. Sometimes installing a new software can cause
these types of problems. Uninstall the driver, and re-install it again. It
would be best however, to go to the HP site, and download their latest
driver for your printer. This way, it is possible that any new bugs were
fixed.
If it is not the driver, the program you are using may have some corrupt
files, there may be a fault in the printer, or the port on your machine may
be going defective. This is just to mention a few possibilities.

H-P .682C printer. Recently started to print series of smudged,
computer symbols instead ofthe designated text. At this time, it is
inclined to grab up paper and continue to print randomly and sometimes
many sheets of paper. Printer preferences are okay. It has peeiods of
normalcy however, Help!
