I need a Windows program that plays wave files with the following
characteristics: 1. If I select 5 files, it will play each file in order. 2. As I select the files, the TOTAL playing time is displayed. 3. Preferably freeware I thought Media Player 9 would do this, but I cannot figure out a way to cause it to calculate the total time of the selected files. Cool Edit or Fast Edit do not appear to do so, either, unless I combine each of the wave files into a single wave file, which is not practical. I need the program so that I can copy the optimum number of wave files to cassette. mcp6453 |

Windows Media Player 9 will do this. You need to go to the "Now Playing"
screen and you'll see the total playing time for your queued music displayed in the lower right-hand corner.
