Dear all,
I have OE and IE6 withWinXP.
When someone sends me an email with a link or sometimes on a website when
the link opens up a new window it doesn`t work. It opens up the window, but
nothing loads into it!

Is there a setting that has changed? It used to work!

Thanks all.

To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
1.. Quit all programs that are running.
2.. Click Start, and then click Run.
3.. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
4.. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded"
message, click OK.
If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of
the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file
names below):
a.. Shdocvw.dll
b.. Msjava.dll
c.. Actxprxy.dll
d.. Oleaut32.dll
e.. Mshtml.dll
f.. Browseui.dll
g.. Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)
If the problem is still not resolved, verify that the following registry
values are present and correct:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{00020400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
Name: (Default)
Value: IDispatch
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{00020400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\Proxy
StubClsid
Name: (Default)
Value: {00020420-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{00020400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\Proxy
StubClsid32
Name: (Default)
Value: {00020420-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

If the problem is still not resolved, reinstall Internet Explorer. If you
are using the version of Internet Explorer that is included with your
operating system, reinstall or repair your operating system.

Amazingly enougth. This first one did the trick! Normally it`s the last
isn`t it. You do something and the last option normally does the trick!

Thanks to everyone. Special thanks to Thor.

How do you know all these things?
I wouldn`t have done this in a million years! And I know a bit about
computers.

Thanks again.

Dealt with it a few times, so I remember the issue, and that there is a
solution from MS. I keep the KB article archived on my drive for easy
