I hope this is the correct place for this.
I wrote this myself and I am only posting it once. Please tell me what you all think. ----------------- Cyber Terrorists Mess With Us All. Cyber Terrorists, Computer Virus writers and those that spread the mayhem seam to be a self-righteous bunch but I wonder if any of them have ever thought of the following about their victims. I could have the cure for cancer on my system. I could be another unassuming, modest patent clerk (like Albert Einstein) ready to start the next revolution in Theoretical Physics. I could have used my computer to write the next top-ten, hit song, or the next best selling novel. I could have the designs for a new type of faster, solid state hard-drive. I could be writing the code for a better way of controlling all hardware. I could have invented a new water treatment device to help those in third world countries. I could be doing my budget to see how much money I can safely give to charity or put into community projects. OR I could be doing my tax return due in 3 days to get back money from the Government that I think might be wasted in their hands; that I can use to help support my child's education. I could be a user of Linux, a supporter of the Open Source software development philosophies and working for Microsoft or helping people with Microsoft products just to make ends meet. I could be a lover of Linux or FreeBSD but finding that I can do my best work with this one program that only runs on Windows. I could be an arsehole or the nicest person you ever would meat. I could be an expert who got lazy or an amateur who knows nothing about Internet security. I could be a lover of porn or just a Hotmail user. I could be at work or at home. I could be on my break from work, on my day off funning around, unemployed, on a pension. I could be doing research for my job in a place on the Internet that you didn't expect me to be. I could have one idea you don't like and 50 you do. I could have said something you don't like but go on to say 100 things you will. I could believe in something you don't or not believe in something you do and still want to call you a friend. If you are a Cyber Terrorist be aware that you can never truly know whom you are attacking. You can't target the guilty, you can't protect the innocent and if a few innocents get caught in the cross-fire while you self righteously and selfishly pursue your master plan or ultimate goal, you might be shooting yourself in the foot. Be under no delusions, if you attack anyone, you are attacking us all. You are attacking yourself too. If you are a Cyber Terrorist and you have become so involved and dependent on your destructive goals that this article has not swayed your self-assurances then there is something wrong with you. You need help. You need the type of help that I'm sure only a team of the most dedicated psychiatrists could manage. For your sake, as well as mine, you need to be caught... ---------------------------- I hope it helps. There is a special place is purgatory for these assholes. Hell for these
pricks would be running Win 95 forever. Personally, I would like to see them shot and ****ed on. Even better, I would like to see a group of talented users catch these bastards and then have them shot and ****ed on. You have a great idea there.
The forming of a virus annihilation group. It probably already exists. But until all these destructive people can be hunted down, if we can inspire at least some of them to see the error of their ways, at least then these talented people you speak of won't have such a large job to do. I'll be putting the article I wrote on my website in the next couple of days. Please spread the word. I think that in order to completely rid the Internet of viruses, it would take a major effort from all those that administrate the distribution channels. -- ______________________________ Procedurized mind at work.
