Mysterious email has me puzzled

Has anybody heard of the Dongreat Lottery? I recieved an email with
an attachment but I can not find any info about this on the internet.
I am hesitant at opening it but I am curious. I don't want to get a
virus in my computer.

1st rule, do not open attachments unless from a trusted source who has
warned you that they are sending attachments and what they contain.

If you know the person who sent it, ask him/ner what it is. Otherwise
delete without opening it. Also, make sure your virus check is up to date
(updates no more than 2-3 days old).

Why waste your time on an obvious virus attempt. I tell everyone in the
office..If you don't expect the email, delete it!

My instict says "delete" but when I read that I won a lottery, well
it's tempting. Guess it gets deleted though. ;-(

It is impossible to win a lottery that you did not pay into.
And lotteries do not use e-mail for notification; certainly since they
ain't gots youse e-mail.
