my home cd player does not recognise my copied cd's any more. this has only
happened recently and I cannot for the life of me understand why. the only
thing I have done prior to the fault is to load the itune and ipod
programmes. I have tried deleting both and restored to an earlier setting
but no difference. cd's that I have burned prior to the fault work fine on
my home cd. I am running xp pro and media player 9 any ideas folks?

What program do you use to burn CD's? Have you tried reinstalling that
program? I would do a clean install of that CD burning program. First
completely uninstall it and then reinstall it. In order for it to be a
"real" clean install, you would need to delete the left over registry
entries after you uninstall before you reinstall but I would need to know
what program you are using to give you furthur instructions.
