A page for a site 123found.com has decided to be my home page, and keeps
coming back, even after I've reset the home page.

Any idea where the (presumably cookie?) is stored?

I found one entry on google which lists various removal tools in the thread.
The preview pane seems to indicate a gambling site. Have you downloaded
games or casino software?

These things are sometimes hard to remove, especially if you keep going back
to the sites that do this, or you have installed their
porn/gambling/personals ads software or search/tool bars. Also be careful
of pop-ups which are asking permissions.

I used to have this same problem. However, I've fixed them and am able to
stop them from happening.

There are several programs that I downloaded/installed/ran that I will never
again be without. They are:

1. Spybot Search & Destroy
2. Ad-aware
3. Winpatrol

The best part is that they are very effective and are FREE (although
donations are accepted by the authors).

Do a search for these using Google (or your favorite browser). I use Google
and have the pop-up blocking feature enabled, so no more pesky pop-ups for
me.

As far as where cookies are stored, which operating system do you use?
Cookies are stored in different places depending on which oper. system you
use.

HTH,

Loren
