Default Printer on 3 copmputer


Hi,

Looking to put one printer link to 3 computer.How do I do that with USB
port?

You need to get a cheap hub and network the computers. Then just share the
printer as a shared resource on one of the computers.

That was a QUESTION. Are you running a network?...or not.

Judging from his answer I would guess not.
I have my three computers networked together and can acess my printer,
hooked to the USB port of my main computer, from all three computers. Just
make sure after you get your network up and running to setup the printer for
sharing.

or buy a cheap print server from compusa or staples, then the printer
is hooked directly to the network and you don't even have to have
another computer tied up with it.

Easiest way is to get a router with a built-in print server. D-Link
has a nice one...no extra charge for the print server.
