Scratch in printer prints??

It makes what looks like someone has taken a needle and made a scratch on the
picture .anyone know what might cause this and how to fix it. thanks BG

What kinda printer? What software? Color or BW? All the time or just
certain pix? Ever happen with text? Horiz or vert or random scratch?

Perhaps you have a clogged printhead and it is creating a streak? Try your
printer software's print head cleaning routine.

Cleaning heads should work. Control Panel>Printers>Right click on the
printer>Properties>then look through the tabs at the top until you find one
that has the head cleaning. Hope this helps.
