I'm going to be building a new computer soon, for use mainly for video
editing. The motherboard I want to use supports both serial ata and standard ide hard drives. Is it possible to use one of each? I have a 7200 rpm ide drive on hand I was planning on using as my "c: drive to hold my programs and I saw a serial ata drive on sale. Would I be able to use the serial ata drive for my "d" drive to hold my video files? I understand the serial ata drives are faster so using that for my files I assume would be the best way to go. I'm just not sure if I can use both drives together on the same system. Thanks for your help. -- Brad Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often. Brad |

Third day in a row...exact same question from the exact same poster. Your
two previous postings of this question got a thread of responses. I would ask if you need help using your newsreader to follow a thread, however, if you do, you'd never see this either. Sorry. Some kind of glitch or something. I never was able to see that my
first attempt was posted until after the second one. In the past I've had posts not show up and thought it happened again.
