Works 7 labels -deleting empty fields

I'd be grateful for advice: My usual once a year task of printing out
labels for Christmas cards has ground to a halt because I can't remember (or
find in Help) how to delete empty fields when printing labels in MSWorks 7.

I am using Windows XP and MS Works 7. I've got the labels up, selected the
fields I want to use from my Works address book but when I want to print
them, any empty fields come up as a space. I know there is a way to close
up gaps...
