Um, I think you are a tad confused. Office 2003 comes in multiple flavors,
including "professional", just like the previous versions. Exactly what
other version are you referring to when comparing to Office 2003? The
previous version to 2003, was Office XP. Before that was Office 2000, and
before that, Office 97. All of them have a "professional" edition.

Sorry my bad. Part 1 - I am getting a new system (2.8 P4, 1GB RAM, XP Pro,
RAID 1 ) for my own business and meant to ask if is better to get Office
2003 or get Office XP and upgrade later. My main concern is if 2003 is
buggy or has major interface problems, as there is not much of a cost
difference between the versions. Part 2- I'm considering either
Professional or Small Business flavor and the only difference looks like Pro
has MSAccess. Is a local copy of MSAccess needed for a web host that has
MSAccess database, or is there a web interface that would allow the use of
the capabilities?
