How to change read speed for Lite-On 52x32x52? (LTR-52327s)

Hi,
i'd like to know how to change the read speed of my lite-on drive. i
seen such menu to change read speed by going to property for the drive
in windows 2000. im using xp sp1 and i only see the menu for changing
recording speed. how can i achieve this?
