IP Telephony Specialists/ Contract/ OH



Project Description

· Determines Quality of Service (QOS) requirements for IP Telephony and
Voice Over IP (VOIP) in a large scale wide area network

· Design and document IP Telephony solutions

· Support Project Manager by performing technical duties

· Document IP Telephony configurations

· Assist in the development of IP Telephony and VOIP standards

· Assist Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel in troubleshooting IP
Telephony problems

· Configure IP Telephony equipment to support program and IP Telephony
requirements

· Assist with project management responsibilities including design and
execution of projects

· Research technological solutions video conferencing-related projects

· Work with on-site personnel to resolve configuration problems both on
site and at remote locations

· Review site evaluation reports to ensure technical viability



Mandatory Requirements

..Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) or higher Certification

..Cisco IP Telephony certification (in design)

..Three (3) years experience maintaining a WAN comprised of infrastructure
equipment in a large-scale wide area network environment

..Three (3) years troubleshooting and maintaining TCP/IP networks

..Three (3) years experience with high-speed telecommunications circuits

..Three (3) years experience with traditional PBX systems such as Lucent or
NORTEL

..Three (3) years experience installing, maintaining and configuring Cisco
switch products. 4 reject 3 5 7 One (1) year experience installing,
maintaining and configuring IP Telephony and/or Voice Over IP (VOIP)
equipment

..Two (2) years Cisco Quality of Service (QOS) experience working with Voice
Over IP (VOIP) and IP Telephony

..Three (3) years experience configuring and installing Cisco Routers in a
large-scale wide area network environment

..Two (2) years experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting WAN
networks using Network Address Translation (NAT) on Cisco products

..Two (2) years experience working with VLANS



Requirements

..One (1) year experience designing, configuring, installing and maintaining
video conferencing equipment in a large-scale wide area network environment

..Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) or higher

..Two (2) years experience working with Firewalls

..Associate Degree or (higher) in Computer Studies
