BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Arg! :(

Hi,

I recently started playing some computer games on the new laptop, and most
of the games require pushing 2 letter keys and a directional key at the same
time. However, whenever I push these three keys, the laptop emit a beep.
This never happened on my desktop. It is a bit annoying having a beep sound
everytime Mario does a running jump, so does anyone know how to disable
this?
