Default memory question


How can I tell what kind of memory my friend's machine takes? He wants to
put more RAM in but how do I tell which kind it is?

The motherboard came with a manual
Read it

If no manual
Get the model number of MoBo
do an internet search
Download the spec's or manual

Tell us what kind of machine he has and maybe we can help..
