...don't consider you an idiot. However, the frequently used "blame the user"
excused is simply overused in the Microsoft IT World when the platform must
share some of the responsibility.

Users always being the weakest point isn't obvious at all. Highly
skilled users, even specialists, get compromised every day.

There really are some basic, inherent qualities about most Windows
versions that make it easier to compromise. And easier to do widespread
mayhem with once you have.

May I name it: complexity.

Oh, and well, the lack of any access control limitation on the WinDOS
variants. But a skilled user wouldn't consider using those at all.
