I need some help setting up a stand alone CA. I have a web site that I want
to enable secure https file transfer. I want to only allow users with certificates to connect. I set up a CA, installed cerficate on site by requesting a cert and then issuing request on CA. I then exported binary cert from CA and then fulfilled request on website. I installed the public key on client. I set IIS to require certificate. But it still does not allow me to connect. In IE I get choose certificate box and their are no certificates in box. In firefox I get site requires certificate. Can anyone help me with this or point me to good article on this. Apt Sa |

No, I was just looking for a solution to my overall goal of running a ssl
website (IIS) that requires certificate to login and certificate will be manually sent by me.
