Defense Talent Network USA, VA-Communications Systems Engineer Working in the public interest, you will provide communications systems engineering support and technical expertise on a broad range of wireless systems and networks. Project support includes, but is not limited to: .. Technology insertion and evaluation .. Providing secure mobile wireless solutions .. Network architecture refinement and development .. Internal customer program analysis and planning Preferred Education/Experience: - BS in EE/CS, MS preferred. - Three to five years experience in communications systems engineering. - Experience working with DoD is a plus. - Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: current and evolving DoD communications systems (i.e. tactical radio systems, data links, MILSATCOM, etc.), commercial communications experience (cellular, two-way messaging, SATCOM, WLAN, LMR, etc), emerging technologies (such as mobile networking, adaptive waveforms, advanced modulation/coding techniques, software radios, adaptive antenna, etc), standards setting, and/or spectrum management.
