There have ben reports of problems getting the update.
What version of Ad-aware are you using and on what OS ?

Manual Download:
Go to the location where you have -- Ad-Aware.exe

rename; defs.ref to defs.bak

http://download.lavasoft.de.edgesuit...ublic/defs.zip

Save defs.ref from the ZIP file in the same location as Ad-Aware.exe

I know they just released new definitions, the problem was that none were
released for nearly eighteen days prior to these

In my case, it wasn't a "beef", but it was concern. This forum is a
good resource for checking when something out of the ordinary happens.
Knowing that others were having the same experience was most reassuring
to me.

For this to happen, a number of people had to respond, and perhaps you
misunderstood. I didn't get the impression that they were complaining.
