Have been a NF (Norton Firewall) and NAV (antivirus) 2002 user for a
long while. It used to be that simply reinstalling the OS would enable
a whole new year's subscription to updates. It seems things have
changed and I'm not sure a reinstall would `reset' Norton so-to-speak.

So then.. is NF/NAV wise to the `reinstall OS' trick? and if so..
what are some alternate FW apps for Win2000? Will likely keep NAV.

I'd like a more comprehensive FW that has better `activity views' and
also provides better resolution.. that is.. the port level.



Also.. what do you think of the NF `auto' firewall rules feature..with
regular updates?
